Atlantic Cup 2026 - MTG Interest Form

This year’s Atlantic Cup is confirmed for the weekend of October 3rd-4th in Philadelphia.  If you are interested in joining MTG’s team this year, please complete the form below.  To join the team, you must be an MTG member.  Factors for player selection include, but are not limited to, performance in MTG and GLTA tournaments, participation in MTG events, competitive experience, and a supportive, team-focused attitude.

The Atlantic Cup is a yearly friendly tennis competition that brings together LGBTQ+ tennis clubs from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. Established in 1992, this four-city event combines spirited round robin play with social connection, featuring singles and doubles matches of all levels (D through Open).  Each member club takes turns hosting the tournament.  Whichever city captures the most points over the weekend takes the crown and bragging rights for a year.

Selection: Because Atlantic Cup features a set number of matches at each level, we must limit the number of players selected for competition.  Submitting this form does not guarantee a spot on the team.  We expect a large number of submissions for certain divisions and plan to make communication with those interested as clear and transparent as possible.

Fees: There is a required fee for all team members.  This is to help cover the registration cost each participating city contributes to make Atlantic Cup happen.

Additionally, travel and accommodations are not covered by MTG.

Membership: If selected, MTG Membership is required to play.
