Solent Birds Project volunteer form

Volunteer form for the two Solent wide projects taking place this winter. There are two projects, both of which will contribute to Solent wide decisions relating to coastal flood and erosion management so that the right decisions are made. The network of strategic sites study aims to understand the importance of the network of high tide roost sites and inland feeding areas within the Solent for the conservation of the overwintering populations of birds, and how best to maintain and enhance the network of sites. The bird movement study seeks to understand bird movements to help identify which sites are important for feeding, which are important for roosting, and the links between these sites and will involve a large amount of bird ringing.
