Library session request form for SMC Composition classes
Thank you for your interest in scheduling a library instruction session for your English 3, 4, or 5 class(es). **These sessions work best when they are tied directly to a research assignment and take place on a date when students have selected a topic and will begin (or have begun) working on that assignment.**

Most library instruction sessions are taught in the library's Wildenradt room, which is equipped with laptops for students and a presentation system.

Please be advised that faculty are required to attend the library instruction session with their class. When you are present, students are more attentive and engaged. They will have questions about how the library session applies to their assignments, and you are the best one to answer them. Then, later in the course, you can reinforce topics covered in the library session.
