Alternative Fall Break Participant Registration
Alternative Fall Break is a series of service days during UVA's fall break (September 30th - October 3rd) where students have the opportunity to volunteer with local Charlottesville organizations. The service days are Saturday, September 30th, Monday, October 2nd, and Tuesday, October 3rd. The organizations we will be working with this year include: The Salvation Army, Camp Holiday Trails, Bellair Farms, JABA (Mountainside Senior Living), and Habitat for Humanity. AFB consists of two volunteer shifts, a morning shift from 9-12 and an afternoon shift from 1-4. Participants may serve as many days and as many shifts as they want, serving either a full or half day. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will also receive lunch and a free t-shirt.
