Expression of Interest | APYD 2021 Job Guide for Australian Humanities Graduates
1. About This Project
This project is an initiative by the Australia-Pacific Youth Dialogue (APYD) with the purpose of publishing a comprehensive Job Guide for Australian Humanities Graduates ('the Guide'). It aims to provide valuable insights into the Humanities job market and introduce useful career tips shared by industry experts. We hope to inspire university students studying for an Australian Humanities degree in their degree planning, and to offer more directions on how to prepare themselves for job applications before or after completing their degrees.

By completing this form, you will be the first to be contacted to receive a copy when the Guide is published.

2. About APYD
The Australia-Pacific Youth Dialogue is a youth association based in Australia and the Pacific Islands, with the vision of building and nurturing a robust relationship between youth in the Pacific Islands and Australia to address regional issues collaboratively.

Our mission is to establish a constructive platform that provides opportunities for young leaders to connect, communicate and engage with the most pressing issues facing our region. We welcome the participation of youth aged 18-35 from all communities within Oceania and aim to promote diversity in our partnerships through providing career resources, running digital events, programs and publications.

3. The Structure of the Guide
The Guide will be structured in four sections:
- Section I: Introduction to Humanities Jobs and the Humanities Job Market
- Section II: Preparation Needed to Secure a Job with a Humanities Degree
- Section III: Samples of Successful Resumes, Cover Letters and Application Answers by Humanities Graduates
