Tips and tricks for spotting, collecting and identifying bees from some of the best biologists around!

You know Sam from his lab’s amazing photos, YouTube videos and the Very Handy Manual: How to Catch and Identify Bees and Manage a Collection. You’ve seen Jamie in Forgotten But Not Gone, a documentary about the rusty patched bumble bee and know his work as a USDA bee biologist. Jamie joins OSU in September as the chair of our Entomology Department!

Topics to include bumble bee news and ID tips, best bee resources including the Very Handy Manual, ID resources and time for Q and A. Registration limited! Lunch included.

Fee to attend: $10, payable at the door. No fee for OSU graduate students and OSU Extension employees, but registration is required!
