2020 LPC Peer Mentorship Program
After a successful first year of the LPC Mentorship Program, the Professional Development Committee is excited to invite participants for the second year of the LPC Mentorship Program.

In light of many discussions and themes throughout the year and many in the LPC community wishing to benchmark and collaborate more with peers, the Committee is changing the structure of this program to more accurately reflect the peer relationships in the LPC. Participants will be paired up with a peer mentor that has complimentary goals, experience, and/or expertise, as a way to encourage collaboration and discussion growth of both participants. The goals for this program are once again to orient people to the LPC and help them build relationships and get involved; and to facilitate professional mentorship around library publishing.

Just like last year, the Mentorship Program will run from February 2020 - December 2020, with mid-year and end of year check-ins where we will receive feedback from all participants, and also provide the opportunity to leave or change your participation in the program at mid-year, should you not find it fulfilling. The program is open to all LPC member institutions, and welcomes both those that participated last year, and newcomers.

Please fill out the form below by January 17th, if you wish to participate in the program. We hope you will share as much as you are comfortable with, to help us match you with a peer that shares your interests and goals. Any questions, please email Ally Laird (alaird@psu.edu), Emily Cole (ecole7@gmu.edu), or Amanda Hurford (amanda@palni.edu).
