Hudson Ignite engages local, young adults in culinary and professional development classes.
Feast&floret Chef, Jason Denton, and community leader, Jess Tree, invite young adults ages 15 to 19 into the professional kitchen, to cover topics such as cooking with open fire, food sourcing/production practices, first aid, resumé building, and inspiring confidence in any professional field.
One session includes 8 classes over 4 weeks, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at feast&floret at 13 South 3rd St. Each day consists of a hands-on class, or key speaker lesson, and will finish with a sit-down meal.
Summer 2024 dates:
8/6, 8/7
8/13, 8/14
8/20, 8/21
8/27, 8/28
Guardians are invited on Wednesdays to join in key speaker lessons and lunch!
Please complete the form below, and additional information will be shared in the next weeks. A parent consent form is required for young adults ages 15 to 19. No prior kitchen or professional experience is necessary. All tools will be provided.
We ask for students to join the program for the full 8 classes to receive a Certificate of Completion and parting gift.
