Whereas the socialist dictatorship in Cuba has:

--Imprisoned hundreds of artists, commentators and human rights activists for speaking up;

--Starved the population with socialist policies that ban people from providing for themselves;

--Caused 400% inflation;

--Shut off communications with the outside world to prevent people from seeing the truth.


We call on the Canadian Government to:

--Demand the release of Cuban political prisoners;

--Call for free and fair elections, without censorship and under the supervision of neutral international observers.
