This grant application is for 2018-19 FTC 2nd year and 3rd year teams that responded to the year end survey.

The Illinois FIRST Tech Challenge Grant is a matching grant where teams make capital investments of at least $750 or $350 and submit PDF of receipts for reimbursement.

Receipts should be submitted in amounts of >$750 or $350 and as ONE pdf. file labeled - Team Number, Team name, Coach email

Illinois Team Registration Deadline:
September 30th - FIRST Tech Challenge Illinois will close competition registration
Teams need to completes 2 registrations - FIRSTInspires.org ($275) and FIRST Illinois Robotics registration ($175 which covers basic competition costs).

End of Season Survey:
In March or April , we will be sending all FTC Illinois grants recipients a survey to complete. Completing the survey is very important to help us secure grants for the following season and if available, qualify your team for a Illinois grant.

Grant's purpose: Investing in capital expenditures
The rookie grant is meant to invest in capital expenditures, electronics, spare parts, robot kits, tools, fields, perimeters, and floor tiles. The grant is not designed to cover travel costs, T-shirts, registration fees. The purpose of the grant is to invest in your program to provide for years to come.
We understand that by accepting this Illinois grant, we are obligated to complete an end of season survey form about our team and season.
We understand that by accepting this Illinois grant our team will make a strong effort to recruit 2 or 3 Volunteers from our "robot family" to help out at each competition we attend. see also http://bit.ly/Volunteers-speak
