The Office of Equity, Partnerships and Engagement in collaboration with the Black Excellence Think Tank is partnering with Kujichagulia Madison Center for Self Determination to highlight youth voices. We’re inviting our MMSD scholars and youth to participate in various performing arts workshops followed by a final performance at the 2020 Virtual Madison Juneteenth. Youth in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to participate in the following workshops: Production to Performance-Releasing Your First LP with Airin Beals, The Hip Hop Experience- From Watts to Wisconsin with K. Sankofa, and Pop, Lock, and Dance and Kobby Brewoo. *Please note that we are limited to 24 students per workshop and students may be moved to an alternate workshop if spaces are filled. We will take registrations on a first come first serve basis.
