Covid-19 Guidelines

All indoor locations will be mask optional. The MSU COVID-19 Task Force made this recommendation based on continued campus-wide, community-wide and state-wide downward trends in COVID-19 infection and spread. The MSU COVID-19 Task Force recommendation coincides with relaxed mask guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC guidance mirrors the lifting of indoor mask requirements by most U.S. states.

Faculty and staff continue to be supportive of those who continue to wear masks.

Any change to the current masking requirement will be shared with the university community via email and online at coastal.msstate.edu/advisory.
