PEI Pre-Tour Itinerary
Monday, July 20
5:00 pm - Meet & Greet at Club 19 Restaurant located at the Rodd Brudenell River Resort. Casual drop in for PEI pre-tour guests to meet and connect.
Tuesday, July 21
8:00 am - 2:00 pm - Deep Sea Fishing at North Lake Harbour followed by a scenic beach lunch at Basin Head Provincial Park. The tour bus departs from the Rodd Brudenell River Resort at 8:00 am. There is space for 44 guests on the fishing boats, and spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Mutch Farms & Guests cattle tour in Earnscliffe, featuring refreshments, surf & turf supper, and entertainment. The tour bus departs for Rodd Brudenell River Resort at 7:00 pm.
If you do not want to go deep sea fishing, there are plenty of activities at Brudenell Rodd River Resort, along with a variety of nearby activities, restaurants, and beaches to explore. For more information click here.
Wednesday, July 22
10:30 am - 12:30 pm - Spud Island Farms tour in Cornwall featuring refreshments & light snacks.
* Note that no tour bus will be provided on this day. Spud Island Farms is located approximately 35 minutes from the Confederation Bridge, for those continuing on to Annapolis Valley, NS for the CSA Convention.

Car Rentals
Availability of car rentals is limited in the summer months. Enterprise, National, Avis and Budget advised that bookings should be completed by the end of March. Car drop off in Halifax is possible, but there will be an additional charge.
Getting to PEI
There are several ways to get to Prince Edward Island. You can drive across the Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick, take a ferry ride from Nova Scotia, or fly into the Charlottetown airport. Note that there is no fee to enter the Island by bridge or boat, however there is a fee to leave.
Northumberland Ferries Ltd. (NFL) is a 75 minute ferry trip that runs across the Northumberland Strait between Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island and Caribou, Nova Scotia The approximate fee is $43 for a car or truck. To book online or get more information click here.
The Confederation Bridge joins the eastern Canadian provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. The curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water, and continues to be one of Canada’s top engineering achievements to date.
