The Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaii's Youth Council is seeking organizational endorsements for legislation to enact comprehensive tobacco regulations, which include:
1) Ending the sale of all flavored tobacco products, including flavored e-liquids, electronic cigarettes and cigars as well as menthol cigarettes.
2) Restricting online sales of e-cigarettes - requiring face-to-face purchases makes it harder for underage youth to obtain these products via the internet.
3) Applying a tobacco tax to e-cigarettes - to create parity with existing taxes on combustible tobacco products, it’s the only tobacco product without one.
4) Requiring tobacco licensing and permitting for e-cigarette retailers and wholesalers to help implement and enforce under-age sales regulations.

By endorsing comprehensive tobacco regulations, your organization name and/or logo may be used on our web page, social media, in print or other medium indicating your support for bill(s) to enact any of the above or combination of the above comprehensive tobacco regulations in the State of Hawaiʻi, subject to any restrictions you stipulate below.
