2017 GreenThumb Youth Leadership Council- College Mentor Application
Thank you for showing interest in becoming a volunteer mentor for GreenThumb's Youth Leadership Council (YLC). The purpose of the YLC is to have young people volunteer at a community garden, learn valuable skills, give back to their community, and have fun. Joining is a great way to gain gardening skills, including but not limited to botany, agriculture, horticulture, composting, and community development.

Mentors will work alongside gardeners at a community garden while managing and motivating high school students. The ideal candidate must commit to volunteering 20 hours during the spring/summer and attend training before the start of the program.
