Dear Prospective ICS Mentors and Mentees,
Thank you so much for your interest in our mentoring program. We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for the lives strengthened since we began in 2019, and look forward to what He wants to do in yours! Please answer the questions below, in order for us to get to know you better, and make the best placement.
The basic things to know are:
1. We launched the program with a core team of five mentors who had been part of the International Christian Statisticians (ICS) for at least several years. We now have over ten mentors, almost all of whom are paired with one or more mentees.
2. I am the program director, please direct all program-related questions or concerns to me,
jason.wilson@biola.edu 3. The Mentor-Mentee pair-ups will be known only to the program director and a few other core mentors. The reason for sharing with some mentors is for accountability. The reason for not disclosing is for the privacy of the mentees, who may, of course, chose to share it with others at their discretion.
4. Our program works on an annual cycle. While you may choose to stop meeting with your mentor/mentee at any time, I will check in every summer to see how things are going, and ask whether you'd like to continue.

Please pray for the LORD's blessing and empowerment upon the people involved in order that we may all "reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ (Eph 4:13)" in order that we all, as Jesus says, "may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me (John 17:21)."
