Past Tense Internal Reviewer Application
Past Tense is seeking internal reviewers to participate in the double-blind peer review process by evaluating research article, book review, and critical commentary submissions. The feedback we receive from internal reviewers is instrumental in determining the acceptance of articles for publication.

Any graduate student in the History Department at the University of Toronto is eligible to participate. Members of the Editorial Board will be happy to help with questions that arise during the review process, so if you are interested but do not have previous experience with the publication process, help is available.

The majority of internal reviewer work will take place in October and November 2018. Although the commitment varies based on the number of articles received in each field, reviewers can expect to spend approximately 8 hours evaluating submissions.

We will aim to confirm receipt of the application form within one week. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but reviewers wishing to work on the 2019 issue should indicate their interest by October 1, 2018.
