Don't forget to email these required items to JoAnne@texasstatetroopers.org:
  1. Letter from a TSTA member, that includes the member's address and phone number, confirming the member's free sponsorship of the applicant.
  2. Photo of the applicant for use in TSTA materials (such as newsletters, social media, etc.), with a note authorizing TSTA to use the photo in those materials.
  3. Current college transcripts, or high school transcripts for college freshmen.
  4. College acceptance letter (if an incoming freshman)
  5. Essay of no more than 2 typed, 8.5"x11" pages, discussing the applicant's relationship with their TSTA sponsor, current education goals, and future aspirations as it relates to the applicant's subject/training area.
  6. Two, but no more than three, letters of recommendation (no older than 1 year) from college or high school faculty, employers, or other appropriate sources (not related).
