ABOUT RESIDENTIAL FINANCIAL SPECIALISTS:
Powercat Financial is looking for students to participate in a unique volunteer leadership role. The Residential
Financial Specialist will act as a liaison between Powercat Financial and their community. Learn more about Powercat Financial on our website at www.k-state.edu/powercatfinancial.

These RFS volunteers will:
- Attend a one hour-long training session (meal provided)
- Follow Powercat Financial’s social media accounts and share posts
- Attend at least one Powercat Financial event each semester
- Allow for a name-tag to be posted outside of their room identifying them as a Residential Financial
Specialist for their community (The sign will be provided by Powercat Financial, you will just provide your
contact information.)
- Make an effort to refer students to Powercat Financial when they may benefit from PF's financial education services
- Make an effort to promote Powercat Financial programs in their community
- Learn valuable personal finance skills and gain leadership experience to add to their resume
