Acting Online Workshop Sign Up - Dec. 2020
This workshop will cover the current changes in theatre, as well as how to adapt. It will cover how to do a cold read over zoom, how to set yourself up for success when recording a self tape, as well as recommendations for equipment in this ever-changing world! Participants should plan to be camera ready (if possible), have a good internet connection, a way to take notes, and water nearby.
This workshop is for adults and youth age 12+.
This workshop is Thursday December 10, 2020 from 6:30pm-7:30pm and will be held over Zoom.
About the Instructor: Rachel Jones is a Michigan native, currently in her 3rd year of her BFA in Acting from the University of Cincinnati’s Nationally Ranked College-Conservatory Of Music. She loves Shakespeare, and (after this pandemic) hopes to study at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Rachel grew up absolutely loving live theatre, and, like many, was worried when this pandemic hit our industry. But if there’s one thing artists are, it’s resilient! After graduation, she plans to do her part and help rebuild our beautiful theatrical industry!
