North Texas Certification Scholarship
Are you applying for your PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification? NTX SHRM offers this $500 scholarship to help offset the costs of purchasing the SHRM Learning System and/or paying for certification fees.

Scholarship Criteria
Scholarship applicant must be an NTX SHRM Chapter Member with an active membership and have a valid SHRM ID number. The scholarship recipient will primarily be selected on merit. Scholarship applicant must include a copy of receipt verifying scheduled testing or SHRM Learning System purchase.

Scholarship applicant must:

• Complete the application for a NTX SHRM Certification Scholarship Award. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Provide a 200 word (or less) essay explaining why you applied for this scholarship and how this scholarship will be relevant to you.
• Provide proof of a commitment to volunteerism

Scholarship applicants will also be evaluated on the following:

Local SHRM chapter involvement
Commitment to the HR profession
Volunteerism/Community Service Activities/Work Experience
Financial need
