BigQuery Vector Search Stored Columns and Pre-filter Public Preview Enrollment
Customers can now specify which columns to store within the vector index. This new feature enhances the performance of vector search queries and allows pre-filtering results based on these stored columns.

Please be aware of the following known issues in the short term. This form and the public documentation will be updated when the fixes are deployed:
  • Query data should not reference any column of type STRUCT or RECORD. Otherwise, the query would fail.
