Thank you for applying to Creative Lattice. We're a group of generous mid-career artists trying to make our careers better in various ways. The network is free and run by Ruth Lantz and Jac Lahav as a way of bringing equity to artists (however we occasionally request donation from those who can contribute to help fund visiting curators.
GOAL: A FREE safe space for mid-career artists to ask questions, share resources, and help each other.
WHAT: We do meetups once a month for those who can make it, discussing topics like social media strategy, contacting galleries, getting organized for big picture thinking, asset reviews, etc. We also started having visiting curators, like Elijah Wheat Showroom came in Feb.
HOW: The main space is Mighty Networks. You can access it from a browser or phone app. It's super easy and like a closed facebook group. Our monthly meetups are on zoom.
This is a sister project called CritConnection, where we match artists for one on one meet and greets. That is a paid program.
