Brief Survivor Explanation
Inspired by the reality competition Survivor, the game begins with contestants split into evenly sized tribes. From there, the tribes are isolated from each other and cannot communicate. Over the course of one "cycle", the tribes compete against each other in a challenge. The losing tribe of said challenge must then attend tribal council, where they must vote one of their tribemates out of the game. Occasionally tribe shake-ups will occur, and eventually the tribes will "merge" into a single tribe. At this point, challenges are now individual challenges where only one person wins immunity. At tribal, the person with immunity still attends tribal council with the rest of the merge tribe. Tribal council proceeds as normal, with one person who received the most votes leaving the game. However, around this time the jury phase of the game begins. From then on, the people who are voted out will become members of the jury. The jury will vote for the winner at the end of the game.

We anticipate each "cycle" taking about a half hour, and the full game to take about 8-9 hours. Jury members will be expected to remain present for the entirety of the game, even after they are voted out.

Survivor is a somewhat long and intense game. Should you be casted, you'll likely need to be present for the entire event, which we expect will take about 8 hours (including a meal break) and will likely start around noon. By checking this box, you are confirming that you will do your best to be available for the entire day of October 15th to participate in this event. *
Required
We will not be holding any challenges that require a significant amount of physical exertion (last season, the most physically exerting challenge was seeing who could stand on one foot for as long as possible), but there may be challenges with some minor physical activity required. If weather permits, we may also hold part of the game outdoors, and thus would recommend that people bring water and whatever else they deem necessary depending on the weather that day. By checking this box, you acknowledge that you have read this information. *
