The BPS Humanities department in collaboration with BPS Arts and the Office of Opportunity Gaps will host 50 Years After Garrity: A Move Toward Equitable Education on September 26, 2024. The event will host a panel discussion with members of the BPS community who had personal experience and were impacted by the Judge Garrity court order to integrate Boston schools (1974-1988). We are looking to the BPS community to share their stories during this event. If you were a student, teacher, school administrator, family member, or community member impacted by this historic event; we are interested in having you on the panel. Please fill out this Google Form to indicate your interest in participating. The panel discussion will occur after the viewing of the PBS documentary The Busing Battleground.
