TPS II "Through Many Eyes: Understanding Historical Perspective"
Join us for an invigorating summer workshop that will support the teaching of primary sources in the history-social science classroom. This summer, we will be exploring the idea of Historical Perspective. Through this lens we encourage teachers to look at traditional teaching topics from a new perspective to help students understand the complexity of history!

During the summer, University professors will help contextualize this idea of Historical Perspective while History Project staff supports participants on finding primary documents using the Library of Congress website. In the two follow-up sessions, participants will be coached on implementing their lessons in the classroom and receive feedback from fellow teachers.

For full participation, teachers will receive a stipend generously funded by the Library of Congress.
