PCSD 25 is committed to prioritizing schools where every learner feels safe, respected, and valued.  Approved by the Board of Trustees at its regular board meeting on August 20, 2024, this universal consent form is designed to help the district comply with new Idaho laws that went into effect on July 1. It is important to understand that these new laws prohibit teachers from using anything other than the names, including nicknames, listed on the school’s official records unless the school has received written permission from a parent or guardian to do otherwise. Idaho’s new laws also prevent schools from providing medical treatment or some counseling services without written permission. We understand that these issues are important to our families. As always, our goal is to remain in compliance with the law while continuing to provide high quality educational services in a supportive environment for all learners and staff.

Responses to these questions will remain in effect unless the school receives modification requests in writing.
