If You Aren't Enrolled in Jackson County Public Schools
DO NOT FILL OUT THIS FORM.  Contact the school within your district for enrollment information.  For more information, call the Director of Secondary Education at (304) 372-7306.  Once you are officially enrolled and have a student ID number,  you may return to this form and complete the enrollment.  Completing the form prior to enrollment does not guarantee you will be accepted into Jackson County's Virtual School Program.

Currently, Virtual School for Elementary School will not be offered.  Please refer to the Director of Attendance for alternatives, such as homebound and homeschool opportunities.

There is some orientation information that students new to virtual school will need to review.  Students who have taken a virtual school class at any other time,  will not be required to review the orientation.
Will student require a Jackson County MacBook to use for virtual school course(s)? *
Every virtual school student may be issued an 11" student MacBook.  However, if you have a device at home that you prefer using, you certainly may.  Any device with access to the internet, such as a desktop computer, laptop computer, or even an iPad or tablet, may be used to complete virtual school classes.  If at any time the student would need a county issued MacBook, simply contact the Virtual School Coordinator to be issued a device.  As a reminder, reliable internet access is a must for virtual school.  Lack of access to the internet or a working device are not acceptable reasons for missing a deadline.
