Interstellar Dice Commissions
Hello! If you have found yourself here, you probably have at least a passing interest in commissioning some custom dice from me. Thank you for thinking highly of my art!

Filling out this form puts no obligation on either party. If you have changed your mind by the time I get to your place in the list, that's perfectly fine. Likewise, if I do not feel that I can accomplish your vision (or for any other reason), I can decline your commission request.

My commissions process
When your place in the queue comes up, I will contact you and we will discuss the specifics of your design vision. Once we have nailed down the details, I will set a price which accurately reflects the complexity of the design and any special materials I need to acquire. You will then pay a deposit (roughly 1/3 of the total cost), at which point I will pour your dice. Once I have started pouring, your deposit is only refundable if I feel that I did not accurately accomplish the design we agreed upon.

I will take pictures along the way so that we stay on the same page. Once the dice are successfully poured, they need to cure for a week, at which point I will polish and ink them. Inking can be an unexpectedly difficult decision, so we can explore various options and I can send you sample photos before we make a decision.

When everything is complete, I will send you the final bill, and upon payment, I will mail you your dice!

Please keep in mind that my dice are completely handmade, and as such, may come with small mold marks or micro-scratches. I will clear any more notable flaws with you in exchange for a small discount, or repour the offending dice.
What name would you like me to refer to you by, and what are your prefered pronouns? *

Pricing
Below are the pricing ranges for the various types of dice you can commission. The low end of the range corresponds to designs similar to what I have previously sold in my shop and which I expect to be able to accomplish with a single attempt. The high end corresponds to multi-stage pours or designs with complex inclusions, painting, etc. Prices are in USD.

Polyhedral sets are 8-piece advantage sets (one logo d20, one standard d20) with a d2/coin. Standard d20s are 21mm face-to-face and can have either a "20" or my logo on the high face. 23mm and 27mm d20s have my Interstellar Dice telescope logo on the high face. Chiral d6s are my "funky" shaped d6s and are piped, with my logo on the high face. I sell them in pairs, although we can add additional pairs of the same design at a discounted price. See the FAQs on my website for more info on chiral d6s.

Polyhedral sets : $150 -  $250
Single d20s: $35 - $60
23mm oversized d20s: $45 - $100
27mm chonk d20s: $60 - $150
Chiral d6 pairs: $60 - $100

If you would like multiple items with the same design, I will discount the additional items.

Repour policy:
If I don't feel that I accomplished our agreed upon design, I will of course repour your dice. If on the other hand, you feel that you need to clarify your vision after seeing the dice that I poured, you get one free repour. If you request any further repours, they will cost the amount of the deposit. Therefore it is to your advantage to clearly articulate your vision during our planning phase. Any dice abandoned in favor of a repour can be sold in my shop if I wish.

Some notes on Pokémon commissions:
I typically only make 23mm and 27mm d20s for Pokémon dice (typically $90 for 23mm and $120 for 27mm). If what you really want is a full polyhedral set, I can make that happen, but it would be pretty expensive, and you would lose detail because the sculpts have to be so much smaller. Also, my prices assume that if I choose to, I can reuse the the mold from the inclusion sculpt (this also applies to non-pokémon dice).
