The current King Conservation District program of work, and supporting rate structure will expire in December of 2019. King Conservation District (KCD) has spent the last year working with stakeholders to develop a new proposed plan of work and supporting system of rates and charges. The proposed program of work has been developed in collaboration with landowners and program participants, partner organizations, cities, and community leaders, as well as KCD's Advisory Committee.

Thank you for your interest in submitting comments on KCD’s program of work and system of rates and charges.  

The period for accepting comments for consideration by the Board of Supervisors on the proposed submittal to King County Council has closed.

Please stay tuned for information regarding the next public hearing, which will be held by the King County Council sometime later this fall.

All comments on the proposed submittal that were received after July 24, 2019 will be retained and submitted as part of that hearing process. Comments received will be part of the public record and may impact King County Council’s decision.
