Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from now through September 22nd, 2026. 

Thank you for your interest in the Catalyst Doula Training Program. Through funding from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, selected applicants will receive a scholarship covering the cost of doula training.

This is a comprehensive 80-hour training program that includes:

  • 60 hours of self-paced online coursework, completed through our online learning platform prior to attending your in-person training days. 
  • 20 hours of in-person instruction, completed over two required 10-hour training days. In-person trainings will be offered as a weekend of condensed in-person training. Training sites will include Kansas City, Wichita, Dodge City, Hays, and Topeka. Students will be assigned to the training site nearest to their home address. Dates are to be determined, and will take place in October, November, and December of 2026. 
  • Transportation assistance and childcare support may be available. Please indicate any needs on the form below. 

Applicants should be prepared to dedicate consistent time to the online coursework and complete all assignments, videos, activities, and assessments by the required deadlines. Although the online portion is self-paced, participants are responsible for staying on track and completing the full program. Please note: Students must have reliable access to a computer or phone with an internet connection in order to complete the online trainings. 

The two in-person training days are also required for successful completion. In-person sessions will be offered in regions across Kansas so participants can attend a training location serving their area. Exact locations and dates are still being finalized and will be shared with selected applicants as soon as they are available.

Because scholarship seats are limited, this application is intended to help us identify applicants who are genuinely prepared to participate, complete the training, and use what they learn to support families in their communities.
