The bp Student Ideas Competition at the Chicago Architecture Biennial invites young people in grades 7 through 12 in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana to consider how design can play a role in creating shared spaces and improving communities. Winners of the juried competition will receive cash prizes (up to $300), tablets, and more. The competition welcomes submissions that explore ideas about architecture and the built environment from a wide range of disciplines including design, the humanities, visual and performing arts, and STEM fields.
