The Trump Administration's Department of Justice has taken unprecedented and illegal action to try to force CHOP (Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania) to violate HIPAA and the confidentiality of their patients. The Trump Admin is illegally demanding that CHOP hands over the private patient information, including home addresses and Social Security Numbers, of their vulnerable patients, in violation of the rights of parents, patients, and providers. Thankfully, CHOP is fighting back in court to protect their patients and the many families that rely on CHOP.
