Associated Student Council Bylaw Changes
The Associated Student Council would like to gather input on their Bylaws and how they can change it in order for the ASC work more efficiently and to better represent students on campus. We want to hear suggestions on how we can modify our job descriptions to be more egalitarian, increase transparency to students and faculty/staff, as well adjust next year selection practices to make sure that students are adequately represented in the Associated Student Council staff (executives and associates). These ideas will be taken under consideration when amending the bylaws. We will be making decisions based off of the general need of the student as well as will refrain from making decisions that single out diverse, minority, and underrepresented populations. Discussion will be had on what adjustments will be made to the Bylaws on May 29th and finalized the following Tuesday in order to be accepted by the Dean of Student Development and the President of the college before this year's ASC member's end of term.   The discussion is open to the public on Tuesday 3-4pm so please attend you input suggestions and want to elaborate or hear our thoughts.

What concerns do you have in terms of the Associated Student Council's Bylaws? *
Are you happy with our selection process? The process includes applicants getting 100 signatures of sponsorship (if an executive), turning in two letters of recommendation, and getting interviewed. The interview,  is supposed to be done mainly by students and reviewing is meant to be done by students at large in order to have students chosen by student to represent the student body. If not please give any suggestions you may have in the suggestions section below.
