Learn how to tell a good story by analyzing storytelling techniques used by many beloved authors and illustrators. Use those techniques to create and film your own stories.

Each month we will read books written by a specific author and learn about the storytelling techniques he/she used. Students will use the techniques they learn to create their own stories.

During the Fall semester, students will tell their story by creating a stop motion video.

During the Spring semester, students will create a live-action movie to tell their story.

Please select the months that you would like to register your child for.

Students are welcome to sign up for just a few months or all. That said, students are encouraged to sign up for entire semesters as this club is designed as a semester long course where students learn a story telling technique each month which they then integrate into an ongoing stop motion film that will be created throughout the semester.

Please note that your child's spot is not guaranteed until payment is made. Fees cover the cost of all materials/supplies, use of the building, etc. The registration fee can be sent via a check made out to Andrea Rieck or via venmo @Andrea-Rieck.
