A.S. 55 Awards
The A.S. 55 Award is a recognition of distinction for student leaders who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to San José State University and who continually give back to the community. Up to 55 students will be chosen by the A.S. 55 Selection Committee to receive the award. Awardees will be recognized at the annual Student Leadership Gala on May 3rd, 2017 at the Diaz Compean Student Union Ballroom.
IMPORTANT DATES
March 10th: Nominations MUST BE submitted no later than 4:00 p.m.

March 17th: Letter of Recommendation or Nominee Questionnaire MUST BE submitted no later than 4:00 p.m.

April 3rd: Recipients will be notified via e-mail. An invitation with details for the Student Leadership Gala will be included.

May 3rd: A.S. 55 Awardees will be recognized at the Annual Student Leadership at the Diaz Compean Student Union Ballroom.

QUALIFICATIONS
Be fully matriculated: undergraduate students (6 units per semester) or graduate students (3 units per semester).

Have completed a minimum of 12 semester units.

Have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5.

Be in good standing with the University.

Not have been a previous A.S. 55 Award recipient.
