Exploding switches and transformers - ARC; What is it?

Our most explosive topic yet and our second VP’s favorite subject -Exploding switches and transformers. It took years to prepare for this event, one year to schedule it, and one month to lock it in. KEMA Labs, an electrical testing and withstand current evaluation lab located in Chalfont is now owned by Holland’s DNV GL. Their employees will present to our membership at the 5 PM September 11th chapter meeting at Jacobs Conshy Headquarters. They will talk about their research with ARC testing showing clips of live current tests. This is very exciting - Bring your habanero peppers, 115,000 scoville heat units (SHU) rated peppers, most electric salsa in your cupboard and your arc-weld goggles. They don’t stand a chance against how hot these ARCS will be. (Chips not included.)

This seminar counts for 1 hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). If you would like a copy for a CPU/CPD/PDH certificate, please check off yes for "Do you need a record for CPD credits" and send a copy of your form response to yourself as a record of your attendance.
