A registration fee of $30 is required per family for the period from August 2026 to July 2027. 

Please use Zelle at danceaa@gmail.com or Venmo DAA-Academy @dance-of-asian-america to complete payment. No checks, please. 

I, as the parent/guardian of my child, acknowledge that Dance of Asian America (DAA) and its director, teachers, and staff members will not be held liable for any injuries that may occur while participating in activities related to Dance of Asian America or DAA Academy. This liability waiver includes, but is not limited to, classes, rehearsals, performances, facility use, travel, and transportation.

In the event that my child requires medical attention and I cannot be reached, I give permission for Dance of Asian America or DAA Academy to take my child to a clinic or hospital for necessary medical care. I understand that I will be responsible for all safety and medical expenses incurred while my child is participating in activities with Dance of Asian America or DAA Academy.

I also acknowledge that I am responsible for my child before and after he/she finishes class. Additionally, I will not hold Dance of Asian America or DAA Academy liable for any loss or damage to personal property. Furthermore, I, the parent/guardian, agree not to hold Dance of Asian America or DAA Academy, or any of its faculty or staff, responsible if my child or any family member contracts COVID-19 or any other contagious disease.

All tuition is due by semester, however, if you need special arrangements, please contact the office. 

If the tuition is being paid monthly, payment must be made each month, by the 25th of the previous month regardless of attendance. An additional $15 will be charged if received after the due date. To participate in any classes, make-up classes, performances, rehearsals, or activities within the month, you must pay the tuition for that month in full.  

Please note that the tuition, recital fee, and costume fee/rental are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be credited. 

Discounts cannot be combined, and they will not be offered past the deadline.

If a student misses a class, they may attend a make-up class within the same month at no additional charge. Make-up classes must be used within the same month. To schedule a make-up class, simply email maureen@danceaa.org. 

Please note that tuition will not be pro-rated for missed classes due to illness, inclement weather, vacations, holidays or any academic school related activities. Tuition cannot be credited.  

DAA Mini Projects and Gymnastic policy: 

There are no tuition adjustments within the mini-group or gymnastic classes. For example, if your group has two students, both students will pay the monthly fee. If your group has three students, all three students will pay the monthly fee, etc.

No credit will be given for missed mini-group classes. Teachers will assist the absent student in catching up upon their return, ensuring fairness for all paying students.

Private lessons or gymnastic classes cannot be canceled unless the studio is forced to close due to emergencies or unavoidable circumstances. 

Only SOLO private lessons may be canceled if there is an emergency. Cancelation is limited to twice a semester. Canceling within 24 hours will not receive a credit.  

Any credits must be settled within 30 days of the missed class, or the credit will expire.
