As a community we have achieved an amazing thing by raising enough money to build a new reception and class extension this summer. If we are to realise the dream of replacing the crumbling Elliot building and creating a brand new hall for use by the school and community, we will need to pull together and do more!

Helping the Big Build can come in many different ways. Please look through the list below and click the box if you think you could help. Then please leave your name and number and I'll be in touch.

Can you help with...?

Contacting building firms for donations / discounts for Phase 1&2 materials

Phase 1&2 tradesmen - are you able to offer some of your skills for free or at a discount? i.e. scaffolding, electrics, plumbing, decorating, landscaping, plastering?

Apply for a grant - if we were able to identify a list of potential grants would you be able to apply for one or more on our behalf?

Creating a list of ex-pupils - this is a research exercise where a knowledge of social media would be helpful.

Take on a personal or group fundraising challenge

Work with Annabelle Barton on another community concert (date tbc)

Work with Hugh Bowring on developing the Dad's 24hr row-a-thon into a wider community event (1st May bank holiday weekend)

Explore options for an event at Thyme in Southrop - we have been kindly offered the use of a barn which seats 60

Sell tickets for the new 300 Club lottery which can start in May

Work with Lucy Johnson on the village garden trails going on in late May/early June in Coln/Quenington/Hatherop - either in the design or on the day

Work with Ali Usher-Bolton on a silent disco / parent's night out idea (date tbc)

Work with Rob Forbes on a family treasure hunt idea for July

Help to maximise the Pam Ayres theatre show on the 2nd Nov - sourcing raffle and auction prizes

Grow plants for sale during the garden trails

Make cakes etc for ad hoc events

Source raffle prizes for ad hoc events

Contact companies for sponsorship for future events
