Jump Into Art!
It’s enrollment time for the after school art program, Jump Into Art! There will be 4 sessions total throughout the school year. Enrollment is currently open for Sessions 1 and 2 only. Sessions 3 and 4 will be available later in the school year. This art program is open to all students at HES and is a great way for students to further explore their creativity. Classes will start the week of October 7th (see below for specific dates and times). Grades 4, 5 and 6 will meet on Mondays. Grades 2 and 3 will meet on Tuesdays. Grade 1 will meet on Wednesdays. Kindergarten will meet on Thursdays. You can choose to enroll your child(ren) in 1 or 2 sessions. Each session consists of 6 art classes. If you enroll your child in 2 sessions, you will receive a 15% discount off the final cost. If you enroll 2 or more children, you will also receive a 15% discount off the final cost. Please note that class space is limited. Any class that is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled.

Students will arrive in the art classroom at dismissal time, 2:35 pm. Prior to the start of art, students will be given time to enjoy a snack and/or complete homework. Please send your child with a nut-free snack! Snack will not be provided. Students should be picked up promptly at 4:15 pm in the school lobby by the main office. Students attending the YMCA will be dismissed to the YMCA.

Parents/Guardians must fill out the registration form below. Please send in payment to your child’s homeroom teacher in an envelope labeled “Ms. Seeger.” Please make checks payable to “Town of Halifax.” Payment is non-refundable.

*Please take note of the dates that you sign up for. There are some weeks where certain art classes will not meet due to early dismissals and meetings. However, each session will still have a total of 6 art classes. *
