The anti-fascism that we need today must lead us to break with all borders, renew the old proletarian internationalism to respond to that black International that is spreading throughout Europe and the rest of the planet and, as in the past, continues to appeal to lack of solidarity, selfishness and hate to sustain their class rule. Today we anti-fascists must once again unite all the peoples of the world under the banners of freedom, equality and fraternity, under the slogans of the Paris Commune, the October Revolution, the partisan resistance to the Nazi occupation -Fascist, of the liberation struggles of the peoples oppressed by capitalist imperialism. Antifascists today, as Walter Benjamin reminded us in a year as fateful as 1939, have a secret appointment with all the oppressed and defeated of the past. And we must not miss that appointment.
That is why today, one hundred years after the birth of fascist power with the March on Rome, the signatory groups and individuals, gathered at the European Anti-Fascist Meeting (Mollina, October 30, 2022) reaffirm our anti-fascist commitment and we intend to continue exchanging experiences and coordinate common actions from below, from the peoples and their organizations as a hundred years ago they confronted fascism beginning with the three heroic years of the War in Spain and with the enormous act of international solidarity that the International Brigades represented.
