TAP-SD Summer Hike Series - Balboa Park Saturday August 18, 2012
It’s August and you know what time it is…it’s hiking time! We’ll stay cool in this heat wave being close to the coast while still enjoying a scenic walk around one of San Diego’s historic gems, Balboa Park.
The hike begins at the South end of the San Diego Zoo parking lot. We'll travel east down the valley and through Florida Dr. and continue our tour around the perimeter of the Balboa Park. And we’ll finish with tea and food at the Tea Pavilion Cafe at the heart of Balboa park, the Japanese Friendship Garden (

Where: Meet at South most end of the San Diego Zoo Parking Lot, 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA (

Difficulty: Moderate-Moderately Strenuous
This is a TAP (Taiwanese American Professionals) event and those from all backgrounds are welcome to join. TAP enhances the Taiwanese American community by networking individuals interested in professional and career development, while emphasizing the preservation of Taiwanese American identity. TAP provides resources and programs that inspire and empower; develop and support professionals to become community-oriented leaders.
