As Team Captain, I represent to Roseland Polo Club that I will comply with the following responsibilities, in addition to those in the USPA 2024 Rulebook, and obligations of my team’s entry in the event: 1. Prior to submitting entry, Team Captain shall confirm with the USPA that each player has paid his current year’s registration fee and confirm correct handicaps.
2. All entry fees must be accompanied by this form and paid in full prior to the tournament. Ambulance, medic and umpire are covered by entry fee. Teams must provide one umpire horses
when playing.
3. Roseland Polo Club does not encourage outdates, and is not obligated to accommodate them; however, we will try to assist teams as best as possible. The Team Captain (only) is responsible for submitting outdates for his or her team. No other request will be accepted. Outdates must be provided prior to the tournament with entry fees.
4. The Host Club Tournament Committee will decide whether or not to accept late entries based on the time available and the ideal number of teams to fill the best format for the tournament, and if agreed upon by the teams who entered by the closing date.
5. All Member Clubs and Individual Members of the USPA are subject to the Broadcast Rights, Title Sponsorships, and Trademark Policy of the USPA, as in effect from time to time. In addition to matters addressed in that Policy, all Host Clubs (as that term is defined in the Broadcast Rights, Title Sponsorships, and Trademark Policy of the USPA) shall obtain and grant to the USPA the right to use, and to permit others designated by the USPA to use, the name and pictures of the Host Club and all facilities and grounds used in connection with or related to the USPA Event. In consideration of Roseland Polo Club granting the Team the privilege to participate in its sponsored tournament and related activities, the Team hereby assigns, transfers and conveys to the Roseland Polo Club any rights, title and interests in and to any copyright, trademark, service mark, or televising and other transmission or recording of, or in connection with, the sponsored tournaments and related activities, and further acknowledge and agrees that any and all such rights, titles, and interests shall belong to the Roseland Polo Club exclusively and may be used, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise disseminated by Roseland Polo Club directly or indirectly in any manner it desires.
