Youth World Education Project was established in 2012 as a response to the voices of our youth needing support and preventative measures. Youth World Education Project (YWEP), a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, is a collection of child-focused, evidence-based initiatives that aims to collectively build and strengthen the family unit by bridging the gap between parental involvement, education, and workforce development. Youth World Education Project is a holistic youth development organization. We are transforming youth through Parent & Youth Development Initiatives.
The Raise Up Series initiative follows pro-social skills curricular that offers a wide variety of group activities in the areas of Communication, Manhood, Self-Esteem, Healthy Relationships, Responsibility, Emotions, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, Anger Management, and more. Our Facilitators teach and reinforce new skills in four phases during weekly groups: Modeling, Coaching, Feedback, and Application. Raise Up is an initiative for males ages 13-19 that is facilitated by men.
Raise Up participants gain a wrap-around support system that truly meets the individual needs of each participant. This year’s Raise Up Series 2023 will be broken into a multi part series.

POISE: Keys to the Game (Financial Literacy): March 4th-March 11th, 2023
• One Love (Healthy Relationships): March 18th-April 1st, 2023
• Project Destiny (Career Exploration & Job Readiness): April 8th, 2023
• The Process (Getting into College): April 15th, 2023
End of Program Year celebration will be held in-person on Saturday, July 8, 2023 1pm-3:30pm
The Raise Up Series will be offered every Saturday beginning January 14, 2023 from 10am-12:00pm at Linda Abril Education Academy. Registration packets are being shared and must be completed no later than Tuesday, January 10, 2023 by 5pm. Thank you in advance for allowing your teen(s) to participate in the Raise Up Series 2023.
