Diversity is critical in building a healthy community. One of our core goals is to increase the diversity of attendees at conferences - starting with ours!

Applicants should be from a traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized group in the technology and/or open source communities including, but not limited to: persons identifying as LGBTQ, women, persons of colour, and persons with disabilities. Students may also apply.

Applicants should be unable to attend without some financial assistance. For example due to not having the privilege of working at a company that can afford to send them, are unemployed or students with a limited budget to pay for admissions.  

Sadly the number of diversity scholarships are limited to ten. But recipients receive a full standard ticket that includes, keynote sessions, ignite talk sessions, open spaces, lunch, snacks and the networking social event. Scholarship attendees will not be distinguishable from paying attendees in any way.

We will review all submissions, and email all successful and non-successful applicants via email in September.

NOTE:  We may consider travel and accommodation support for recipients who need it.
