Summit County Resort Homes Inc is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit. Contributions or gifts to Summit County Resort Homes Inc are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Please consult your tax advisor. All organizing, fundraising, and administrative work done at SCRH is performed on an unpaid volunteer basis. Roughly 99% of funds raised through the nonprofit are used to pay our legal team's fees at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP in prosecuting the lawsuit against Summit County to invalidate the STR regulations. The remaining one percent is used for our website and administrative tools.
