The 2024 Ocean Tracking Network Symposium is taking place from Sept. 23-26, 2024, in Halifax, N.S. The symposium will begin with an evening social on Sept. 23, followed by two full days of sessions and an optional workshop for early career researchers on Sept. 26. If you would like to present your research at the symposium, please submit an abstract by March 15, 2024.

Sessions will be divided into four categories:

• Poster: Posters will be on display in a designated area during the symposium. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the author during a dedicated session.
• Speed Talk: A 5-minute presentation followed by a brief audience Q&A.
• Oral Presentation: A 10-minute presentation followed by a brief audience Q&A.
  
• Workshop: A 60 or 120-minute interactive session. The applicant is responsible for developing and delivering all workshop content and informing the organizers of any logistical requirements prior to the event. An OTN staff member will be provided as a room facilitator for any day-of logistics. Please note: pre-registration by attendees for workshops will not be possible—workshop participants must be able to register during the symposium. Workshop leads should plan sessions that do not require pre-work by participants.
