BOCK 2021 Barrel Style Survey

Every year, BOCK procures freshly dumped bourbon barrels. We choose beer styles, generate recipes, and find BOCK members to brew enough beer to fill each barrel. Only styles with an ABV of 8% or above are included in the survey.

Typically, each brewer brews 3-5 gallons, and there are 11-12 participants for each barrel. After about 6 weeks in the barrel, the beer is rationed back out to the brewers who participated.

The purpose of this survey is to gauge participation in the 2021 BOCK barrel project and to determine what styles to brew. The target fill date is April 4.
