Please be aware of the following when using CMEK and/or requesting access to this feature: 1) There are a limited number of CMEK databases available 2) Firestore may remove customers ability to turn-up new CMEK databases to limit the number of CMEK databases, based on volume

Note that Preview launches are not feature-complete, and there are no SLAs for Preview features (https://cloud.google.com/products#product-launch-stages). During Preview launch, CMEK databases don't support the scheduled backups feature. You can use Point-in-time recovery (PITR) feature as a disaster recovery option. More details can be found in the user guide.
