DAMPA’s mission is to provide an educational atmosphere of excellence that meets each student’s interest, abilities, and needs. We provide the tools necessary for graduates to be a strong asset to any major college program, or to excel in a professional performance career.
The process for application to DAMPA includes the following steps:
1. Applications with a $50 application fee must be received by December 5th via the DAMPA website or by mail to Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts, 3415 Milton Avenue Dallas TX 75205 Attention: Registrar.
2. You will be assigned an audition date and time within a week of receiving your application.
3. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to your audition to change and warm-up. See Audition Guidelines for further details on the last page of this application.
4. Notification will be made by email the week of December 15th regarding status of applicant’s acceptance. Some may be placed on a wait-list when there are more eligible applicants than available openings.
Upon acceptance, applicant must complete the Spring 2018 Registration Form and submit a $600 deposit by January 5th 2018.
